aspects of device service, including patient education, in-clinic
device checks, emergency service, remote monitoring, clinical

want to hear from you!Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) Field Device
Specialist Responsibilities:Perform Pacemaker & ICD interrogations
to Sorin/Microport patientsProvide Pacemaker & ICD implant support
within area of geographic responsibilitiesTroubleshoot critical
device issues and take immediate steps towards resolutionProvide
technical and administrative support when required for European
devices, programmer and training will be providedEducate and assist
clinics with the management of remote device checks, alerts and
patient enrollmentComplete equipment requests utilizing Microport
websiteMaintain comprehensive product and technical knowledge of
all Sorin/Microport bradycardia and tachycardia productsCompetency
in all aspects of Pacemaker and ICD implant and follow-upProvide
on-call coverage 24 hours per day and up to 7 days a week including
weekend call on a rotating schedule, based on territoryRequired to
travel and provide support anywhere within the territory with
cross-over coverage during emergencies when necessaryMust
have/obtain Certified Cardiac Device Specialist (CCDS)
Certification; candidates that are not certified must obtain
certification within two years of hire dateAll other duties as
assignedTravel/Availability requirements:Provide 24-hour, 7 day a
week on-call territory coverage (including holidays, weekends,
evenings)Available/willing to work/travel weekends and
eveningsAbility to travel outside of assigned territory as
neededMust be able to drive approximately 80% of the time within
assigned territoryMust be available to travel out of the assigned
territory (expected to be less than 20%)Must have a valid driver
license and current vehicle insurance policyMust obey all traffic
lawsPreferred Qualifications:Minimum of three years of experience
analyzing and reprogramming cardiac pacemaker and AICD's or current
Cardiac Device Technology Certificate from a recognized device
training schoolProfessional appearance and demeanorExcellent
communication skills and the ability to work with all levels of the
companyDemonstrated critical thinking ability to resolve problems
and carry out instructionAbility to effectively collaborate with
physicians regarding device status and accurately document device
